Abiy Aberra of Addis Ababa to Begin Summer Internship

Abiy Aberra of Addis Ababa, Ethopia recently received a Whitman Internship Grant in order to pursue a summer internship at Village Volunteers.

This grant provides Whitman students with a stipend of $2300 so that they have the opportunity to participate in an unpaid internship that will allow them to build important skills for the future and to give back to the community around them.

Next year Aberra will be returning to Whitman as a senior philosophy major.
